CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The detection vehicle No.55239 departed from Luohuangdong Railway Station at 13:46 on November 8, which marks the official beginning of the dynamic test for East Loop of Chongqing Railway Hub but also brings us closer to the opening of East Loop. The railway department reminded that no UAVs or kites are allowed near the line of East Loop for the near term, as they may affect the dynamic test.

According to Chongqing Construction Headquarters of China Railway Chengdu Group Co., Ltd., the Chongqing Railway Hub East Loop project is a key project of China State Railway Group Co., Ltd., which covers six districts including Jiangjin District, Banan District, Nan'an District, Jiangbei District, Yubei District and Beibei District, and connects with "three bases and one port": including the railway logistics base of Tuanjiecun Central Station, the air logistics base of Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, Nanpeng Trade Logistics Base and Donggang Port.

The loop line starts from Luohuangnan Railway Station of Chongqing-Guiyang Railway in the south, passes through Luohuangdong, Nanpeng, Chongqingdong, Yinglong, Miaoba, Longxing, Tongjing, Gulu and Shuitu, and ends at Moxinpo Beichang in the north, covering a total length of 159km. It is a 160km/h two-way electric railway shared by both passenger and freight trains, with 85 bridges and 49 tunnels. The first phase of the construction was started on December 28, 2016; the construction of the whole line was started on April 30, 2017; the track laying for the main line was completed on August 30, 2022; the dynamic test was started on November 8, 2022.
