CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The "Lei Feng Taxi" volunteer service team got new members! The online car-hailing service industry in Chongqing established a "Lei Feng Taxi" ride-hailing service team recently.

Data from the Chongqing Road Transport Affairs Center show that in downtown Chongqing, 90,000 vehicles have obtained licenses for online ride-hailing services, and more than 200,000 people have obtained licenses for online ride-hailing drivers.

The first batch of vehicles for the "Lei Feng Taxi" ride-hailing service team consists of 1000 units of vehicles from ten online car-hailing service enterprises like Caocao Mobility. There are over 1,000 members of the team, all of whom have excellent business skills, high service quality, and long years of driving experience.

The heads of those cars are labeled “Lei Feng taxi” from now on. 500 units of them will be used to offer free pick-up services to students who participate in the college entrance examination this year.

According to the online car-hailing branch of Chongqing Taxi Association, the work, management policy, and access mechanism for the "Lei Feng Taxi" ride-hailing service team will be aligned with those for the "Lei Feng Taxi" volunteer service team. The head of the platform will serve as the team leader of the "Lei Feng Taxi" ride-hailing service team, the instructor will serve as the person in charge of the business section or administrative section of the platform, and the deputy head of the team will be the outstanding driver of the platform.
