CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On the morning of November 26, the completion of the main tower on the northern bank marked a significant milestone in the construction of the Huangjuetuo Yangtze River Bridge. As the largest cable-stayed suspension bridge for both rail and road traffic in the world, the project is a step closer to its next phase, which will involve the installation of the main cables and the assembly of the steel beams.

The Huangjuetuo Bridge is a significant part of the Chongqing-Changshou Expressway’s secondary connecting route (from Haiteng Interchange to Nanqiaotou Interchange). Once completed, it will serve as a vital transportation link, connecting the Danzishi area in Nan’an District and the Tangjiatuo area in Jiangbei District.
