CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The construction of an observation deck at the “I’m in Chongqing” landmark on the Guanyinqiao Pedestrian Street in Jiangbei District was in full swing on December 30. The platform is expected to be completed and open to the public before the 2025 Spring Festival.

The “I’m in Chongqing” sign has already become one of the most popular photo spots for visitors to the city. To further enhance the experience for tourists and locals, the Jiangbei District is upgrading the nearby No. 2 overbridge along the Guanyinqiao ring road. The renovation will include the addition of an observation platform, allowing for better pedestrian flow and making it easier for visitors to take photos and enjoy the view.
