CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On the morning of April 9, with the successful arrival of Air China Flight CA1450 and Hainan Airlines Flight HU7263, Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport Terminal T3B was officially put into operation!

With a building area of approximately 360,000 square meters, Terminal T3B is a standalone “satellite hall”. Following its launching, Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport now operates under a configuration of “three terminals + one satellite hall + four runways”. This will meet the demands of an annual passenger throughput of 800,000 person-times, 580,000 aircraft movements, and a cargo and mail throughput of 1200,000 tons. It will further enhance the Airport’s infrastructure and service capacity, strengthen the role of Chongqing as an international aviation hub, and fully support Chongqing to become an anchor in the Strategy for Large-scale Development of Western China and an inland opening-up integrated hub.
