CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On June 15 at the Xijie food street in Shapingba’s University Town, international students participating in the “Chongqing Flavors Spanning the Globe: A Culinary Journey through Taste Buds” cultural event mastered the art of crafting serrated potato sticks under expert guidance.
The gastronomic celebration gathered students from Chongqing University and Sichuan International Studies University for immersive workshops. Guided by master chefs, participants learned to make fermented rice ice dumplings and serrated potato sticks. They also sampled numbing-spicy Chongqing noodles and authentic Rongchang braised goose — a hands-on immersion into Ba-Yu cuisine’s distinctive allure.
