CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Located in Baiyun Village, Shuangjiang Town, Tongnan District, this pivotal project prioritizes shipping while delivering comprehensive benefits, including power generation and river ecosystem restoration. As a key “14th Five-Year Plan” initiative of the Ministry of Transport, it stands as a benchmark demonstration project for the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle. Currently, the core shipping components, including waterways and ship locks, are largely complete. Workers are currently completing the final construction and running system-wide tests.
