CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Following the summer travel rush, the Chongqing Rolling Stock Depot of China Railway Chengdu Group Co., Ltd. began its largest-ever “checkup” for EMUs on September 10, conducting autumn maintenance on 133 trains in its fleet.

Based on the technical conditions observed during the summer travel rush, Chongqing Rolling Stock Depot carried out comprehensive inspections of braking systems, vibration dampers, and coupling components, as well as targeted repairs for frequent and seasonal malfunctions. Maintenance teams also enhanced checks and repairs of train body sealing, insulation, and cold-proofing, while reinforcing inspections of fire prevention systems and emergency equipment to ensure the safe operation of EMUs and the reliable performance of onboard facilities.
