CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- According to reports, Ma’anshi Jialing River Dual-Lane Bridge is a key component of Chongqing-Wusheng Expressway Widening and Renovation Project. It connects Yubei District and Beibei District and is located on the upstream side of the existing Ma’anshi Jialing River Bridge. The Bridge is a five-span continuous steel structure, with a total length of 1,422m and a maximum span of 250m. Once completed, it will create an eight-lane, bidirectional traffic flow, alleviating congestion on the existing Ma’anshi Jialing River Bridge. This will positively impact the transportation dynamics within Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle. As of now, 77% of the work on the second section of Chongqing-Wusheng Expressway Widening and Renovation Project has been completed, with the expected completion date set for the end of 2026.
