CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Hanfeng Lake has a stunning new attraction! The “Boat-on-Lake” pedestrian bridge, constructed by Chongqing Sanyi Construction Group, recently celebrated its grand completion and is now officially open to the public.

As China’s first single-pylon cable-stayed continuous steel box girder bridge, this 249.9-meter span features a deck that gracefully expands from 6 to 9 meters in width. Situated in Jinke’s “Boat-on-Lake” Park, on the western upper reaches of Hanfeng Lake, the bridge’s main and approach sections consist of 21 welded steel box girders, capped by a distinctive single-pylon tower and a vibrantly color-treated deck. Come nightfall, a custom lighting system converts the bridge into a luminous “jade ribbon”, reflecting the sparkling lake and urban glow. (Source: Kaizhou Convergence Media Center)
