CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Where lush green vines flourish, the sweet scent of grapes is once again in the air. At Bangrong Orchard in Zhenxing Village, Longsheng Town, Qijiang, neat rows of trellises are heavy with fruit. Each cluster of plump, appealing Shine Muscat grapes is particularly tempting under the sun’s rays, giving off a rich, fresh fragrance. “We have about eight mu of Shine Muscat this year, and the quality is excellent,” says Sun Zhiyuan, the orchard manager. “We expect a total yield of 10,000 jin, and everyone is welcome to come and pick their own.” He notes that the grapes are priced at 15 yuan per jin, and the picking season will last until the end of August.
