CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On September 3, the exhibition “Archives Witness the Great Spirit of Resistance: Chongqing Commemorates the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War”, co-organized by the Chongqing Municipal Archives and the CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee Party History Research Office, premiered at the Archives.

The exhibition is divided into four thematic sections, including “A Nation’s Rise, Every Citizen’s Duty: The Spirit of Patriotism”. Through rare archival displays, immersive scene reconstructions, and interactive multimedia, the exhibition vividly highlights the central role of the Chinese Communist Party in the united national resistance and panoramically portrays Chongqing’s pivotal role as China’s wartime capital.

A total of 227 items are on display, sourced from over ten institutions, including the Central Archives, Chongqing Municipal Archives, and Chongqing Hongyan Revolutionary History Museum. Among them, 42 documents are released for the first time by the Chongqing Archives, with an additional 25 items being shown in Chongqing for the first time.
