CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Chongqing’s Jiangbei District is making steady progress on the Guanyinqiao aerial corridor, a project designed to connect Jialing Park, China Resources MixC, Yangguangcheng Plaza, and Maoye Department Store.

The first phase of the sky bridge, which connects Jialing Park and Maoye Department Store, features innovative retractable glass walls and a specialized HVAC system that provides fresh air, ensuring year-round comfort for pedestrians. A key challenge was the Maoye section, which spans 55 meters over 10 traffic lanes.

Slated for completion by the end of this year, this elevated walkway is expected to enhance pedestrian and vehicle flow, improve the functionality and quality of the Guanyinqiao business district, and contribute to its evolution into a world-class commercial hub.
