CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On September 8, the construction site of the Baoshan Jialing River Bridge in Chongqing was a scene of bustling, well-organized activities.

As a critical link in Chongqing’s Fifth Ring Expressway network, the bridge starts in the west at the Xiqiaotou Interchange in Shilong Village in the Caijia area, spans the Jialing River, and extends east to the Chunxuan Interchange in the Yuelai area.

Once completed, the bridge will directly connect the Caijia and Yuelai urban clusters, slashing the travel time between Central Park and Caijia to just over ten minutes and significantly improving transit convenience for residents along the route. (Photographed by Long Fan / Visual Chongqing)
