CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, the Sichuan International Studies University Mini-Railway in Shapingba District has become a growing attraction for visitors. During the National Day-Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, this pedestrian trail drew tourists from near and far with its unique industrial heritage appeal. Visitors strolled along the tracks, paused for photos, and enjoyed the festive break. Originally built in the 1960s as a dedicated line for the Special Steel Plant, the 9.8-kilometer railway no longer sees train traffic.
