CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On October 18, Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport reached a cumulative air cargo and mail throughput of 400,000 tonnes in 2025, achieving this milestone 25 days earlier than in the previous year.

Since the beginning of the year, the airport has strategically expanded its freight network, with a focus on Europe and Southeast Asia. Multiple high-demand cargo routes have been launched or resumed, including the airport’s first all-cargo flight route to Southeast Asia. To date, 15 international (and regional) cargo routes are in operation, marking the initial formation of a “Y-shaped” logistics corridor with Chongqing as the hub, connecting Europe, Asia, and North America.
