CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On November 19, in Guicuo Community, Hong’an Town, Xiushan County, fruit growers were busy picking and transporting a fresh batch of navel oranges.

The harvest of Hong’an Town’s ten-thousand-mu navel orange orchards is now underway, with strong market interest reported this season.

In recent years, Xiushan has focused on building a modern rural industrial system by expanding its navel orange sector. Continuous improvements have been made across the entire chain — from planting, storage, and transport to processing and sales — creating an increasingly complete and mature industrial ecosystem. Leveraging both the New Western Land-Sea Corridor and the county’s strengths in e-commerce, Xiushan is actively expanding its market reach, helping large numbers of growers achieve higher incomes.
